The peloton sets off from Tarbes at 1330. The riders are expected to arrive at the finish between 1650 and 1713.
Stage 14 of the 2019 Tour de France a short stage, with two major climbs. The second is the Tourmalet, which is also the finish line. A summit finish like this should have a significant effect on the overall standings.
Geraint Thomas and Julian Alaphilippe both showed well in the time trial. It may be a sign of general good form, transferable to the mountains. Although it seems a little unlikely, I'm going to back Steven Kruijswijk to win.
