The peloton sets off from Nimes at 1320. The riders are expected to arrive back at the finish in NImes between 1716 and 1737.
Stage 16 of the 2019 Tour de France is an anti-clockwise tour of the Gard département. The Pont du Gard, early on the route, should provide some spectacular images. Alès is the biggest town other than Nimes, and the picturesque Medieval town of Uzès comes in the closing stages.
